Power Strength Teacher
I began strength training at a young age alongside competitive swimming and track throughout high school. While attending Appalachian State University, I started teaching spin and HIIT classes through University Recreation and continued coaching and teaching locally in Greensboro after graduation.
Around 2014, I began competing in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting, which led me to earn my USAW Level 1 and CrossFit Level 1 certifications. I went on to compete at the CrossFit Regionals and qualified to compete at the Global CrossFit Games in 2017. It was during this time that I truly fell in love with lifting heavy and, more importantly, teaching others how to do it safely and effectively. There is nothing more empowering—especially as a woman—than consistently putting in the work to become stronger, faster, and better. To this day, that’s what I enjoy most about training across all modalities.
As a mom to two toddlers, my priority is to lead by example. As a leader in our fitness community, my priority is to hold people capable, accountable, and to celebrate the hell out of every win—big or small—along the way.
